Become a Mud Puppy

What is a Mud Puppy?

Picture
Mud Puppies hard at playing, laughing, and creating. Walk in anytime and join our group!
Tanya Lana and an acquaintance agreed there needed to be a place for the community to meet, enjoy visiting and creating. The new clay studio was the beginning of this forum to take place. After a few Thursdays, the group of volunteers came up with a name and "Mud Puppies" was born.

After many months of hands-on assistance, Tanya and Shirlyn have kept the creative juices flowing plus endless days of laughter.

These are tea stirs. Claire, "the English lady," in our community does tons of events for her teas. She also sells a line of Harry Potter-type items that she includes with her line and teas. These are really sweet.

The group is a "Come as You Are" society. So far, mostly females are involved; however, we'd love to see some men show up and get muddy.

We meet every Thursday morning from 10am to noon. Whether experienced or a beginner, it makes no difference. An encouraging helping hand is only a few steps away.

"The proceeds of all sales goes towards the clay studio's
expenses and future projects."

Once we've finished a project, the items are then sold to local art galleries and/or retail shops. We also have special orders come through (click here for details).

One of the sweet perks of being a Mud Puppy is we are always first to purchase what we, or fellow mudders, create. The proceeds of all sales goes towards the clay studio's expenses and future projects.

Some of these projects are given to the community for beautification or simply joy.
Donations are made to nonprofit raffle events always wanting to share and help our great small community we love so much.

Life is good, come play, Walk-ins welcome limited space.

If you build it they will come. Tanya’s version if you help them build it they will laugh.
