Prerequisite: Beginners Handbuilding Class
After you have taken our Beginner Handbuilding Pottery Class, please join us to continue growing your hand building pottery skills with the Intermediate Handbuilding Pottery Class.
In the Intermediate class, we will be working with soft, semi-soft and leather hard slabs. We will make a butter dish, lidded box, and birdhouse. In addition, we will encourage your creativity as you approach these projects so that they make sense in your life (ie: your birdhouse can be a votive if you wish). If time permits, we will do at least one more project.
Class cost covers 6 -2 hr Saturday classes, plus 2 open studio sessions.
Glaze and firings are included in the price.
Materials Due in Person at First Class: $30
This covers clay, glazing, firing, and all other tools needed.
