Description:

If you’ve been thinking about getting your hands in clay this spring, now is the time!

In the Clay Beginner Hand Building class series, you’ll learn all the essential techniques needed to confidently work in the clay studio all while making fun and useful items. By the end, you’ll be prepared to join our open studio and start creating whatever you can imagine.


Every Saturdays: April 25th - May 30th, 10-12pm


Syllabus:

  • Week 1: Pinch pot project, general studio welcome and information with Tanya
  • Week 2: Slab building projects, small bowls and plates with Tanya and Shirlyn
  • Week 3: Slab building project, vases, 2 styles with Melanie
  • Week 4: Slab project, apothecary scoop with Amber
  • April 21: NO CLASS Memorial Weekend
  • Week 5: Glazing with Melanie and Tanya


Sign Up Pay: $65.

First Class: $35 materials fee
