Description:
Come join us for a colorful fused glass adventure! In this beginner-friendly class, students will create a 4 x 6 inch glass suncatcher using sheet glass, frit, stringers, and glass dots. No previous glass experience is needed.
Students will learn basic fused glass techniques including an overview of glass types, breaking and placing stringers, assembling a design, and several ways to apply frit to create flowers, dragonflies, and abstract garden designs.
Students will add hooks for hanging before the pieces are kiln fused. Finished suncatchers will be ready for pickup after firing in about a week.
All tools and materials are provided.
